Owns and manages neighborhood and community shopping centers, anchored by grocery and value-oriented retail, and located mostly in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Midwestern regions of the U.S.

Agree Realty (ADC)

Owns and manages neighborhood and community shopping centers and single tenant properties in 16 states.

Brixmor Property Group (BRX)

An October 2013 spinoff from Blackstone Group, Brixmor owns and manages more than 500 grocery-anchored and neighborhood shopping centers. Blackstone still holds more than 30%.

CBL & Assoc Properties (CBL)

Owns and manages regional malls and community shopping centers in 27 states. Also provides management services for third parties.

Cedar Shopping Centers (CDR)

Owns and manages community and neighborhood shopping centers in the mid-Atlantic and New England states.

DDR (was Developers Diversified Realty) (DDR)

Owns and manages 400+ value-oriented shopping centers in 39 states, Puerto Rico and Brazil. Internally managed.

Formerly American Realty Capital Global Trust, Global owns more than 300 single tenant commercial properties in the U.S., U.K., Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg and France. Began paying monthly dividends in October 2015. Tripled monthly payout in April 2017.

Owns and manages neighborhood and community shopping centers in 44 states, and in Puerto Rico, Canada, Mexico and in South America.

Kite Realty Group (KRG)

Owns neighborhood and community shopping centers in growth markets.

Macerich (MAC)

Owns and manages regional shopping centers throughout the U.S. 

National Retail Properties (NNN)

Owns and manages properties in 46 states that are leased primarily to retail tenants under long-term net leases.

Owns and manages retail strip centers and shopping malls located in 13 states in the eastern U.S.

Urstadt Biddle Properties (UBP)

Owns and manages community shopping centers located in the northeast with a concentration in suburban New York, Connecticut and New Jersey.

Urban Edge Properties (UE)

A January 2015 spinoff from Vornado Realty Trust, Urban Edge owns and manages more than 80 shopping centers mostly located in the Washington DC to Boston corridor.

Weingarten Realty Investors (WRI)

Owns and manages more than 200 neighborhood and community shopping centers located in 20 states.

Wheeler REIT (WHLR)

A November 2012 IPO, Wheeler owns small retail centers in secondary and tertiary markets in the Southeastern U.S. ranging in size from 50,000 to 300,000 square feet. $100 million market-cap, low trading volumes. High risk! 10/20/15

WP Glimcher (WPG)

Formed by the 2015 merger of Glimcher Realty Trust and Washington Prime Group (a 2014 Simon Property spinoff), WPG owns over 120 enclosed regional malls and open-air lifestyle community centers.
