Operates mutual funds and provides investment management services to private clients, individual investors and institutional investors.

Alon Partners, LP  (ALDW)
An August 2012 IPO, Alon, a Delaware Limited Partnership, owns and operates a crude oil refinery in Big Spring, Texas.

Blackstone Group LP  (BX)
A private equity firm that owns stakes in more than 40 companies, manages hedge funds and other funds, and provides mergers and acquisitions and restructuring advice to corporate clients. Blackstone made one of the largest private equity transactions ever when it acquired Equity Office Properties Trust for $39 billion in 2007.

Calumet Specialty Products Partners  (CLMT)
Produces lubricating oils, white oils, solvents and other specialty products used in consumer, industrial and automotive products. Also produces gasoline, diesel and jet fuel. Has facilities in Louisiana, Pennsylvania and Texas.

Cedar Fair (FUN)
Owns and operates amusement parks, outdoor water parks and hotels in Ohio, California, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Missouri, Michigan and Canada.

Cheniere Energy Partners  (CQP)
Owns the Sabine Pass liquefied natural gas (LNG) receiving terminal located in Louisiana. Given the natural gas surplus in the US, Cheniere plans to convert the facility to an LNG sending terminal.

Compressco Partners  (GSJK)
A June 2011 IPO, Compressco provides wellhead compression-based production enhancement services to natural gas and oil exploration and production companies.

CVR Partners  (UAN)
An April 2011 IPO, CVR manufactures nitrogen fertilizer products using a petroleum coke gasification process.

CVR Refining, LP  (CVRR)
A January 2013 IPO, CVR owns and operates crude oil refineries in Coffeyville, Kansas and in Wynnewood, Colorado.

Emerge Energy Services (EMES)
A May 2013 IPO, Emerge operates two main businesses. The Sand segment mines and processes silica sand, which is used in hydraulic fracturing of oil and natural gas wells. The Fuel segment acquires and processes transmix, the result when multiple types of refined petroleum products are transported sequentially through a pipeline, and stores, distributes, and sells refined motor fuels and renewable fuels. General partner is Emerge Energy Services GP LLC.

Enviva Partners (EVA)
An April 2015 IPO, Eniva owns and operates six plants in the U.S. that process wood fiber into wood pellets that it sells to power plants in the UK and Europe, that were previously fueled by coal. General partner is Enviva Holdings LP.

Exterran Partners (EXLP)
Provides compression services required to transport natural gas through pipelines, processing, storage and distribution facilities.

Fortress Investment Group LLC (FIG)
A February 2007 IPO, Fortress a manager of private equity funds and hedge funds, discontinued paying distributions in September 2008.  

Global Partners (GLP)
Wholesale distributor of gasoline, home heating oil, diesel, kerosene and residual oil, serving the Northeast states. Also owns retail gasoline stations.

High Crush Partners (HCLP)
An August 2012 IPO, High Crush Produces monocrystalline sand, a specialized mineral used as a "proppant" (frac sand) to enhance the recovery rates of hydrocarbons from oil and natural gas wells.  General partner is Hi-Crush Proppants LLC.

Icahn Enterprises L.P. (IEP)
A diversified holding company engaged in eight primary business segments: Investment Management, Automotive, Gaming, Railcar, Food Packaging, Metals, Real Estate and Home Fashion.  

KKR Financial Holdings LLC (KFN)
A specialty finance company,  KFN's strategy is to leverage the proprietary resources of its manager with the objective of generating both current income and capital appreciation.  KFN is externally managed by KKR Financial Advisors LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of KKR Asset Management LLC, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P.

KNOT Offshore Partners (KNOP)
An April 2013 IPO, KNOT owns and operates shuttle tankers under long-term charters in the offshore oil production regions of the North Sea and Brazil. Master partner is Knutsen NYK Offshore Tankers AS, a Norwegian LLC.

Martin Midstream Partners (MMLP)
Provides marine transportation, terminaling, distribution and other services for producers and suppliers of petroleum products and other liquids. Also manufactures sulfur-based fertilizers and owns an interest in a sulfur storage and transportation business. Operates primarily in the U.S. Gulf Coast region.

PetroLogistics (PDH)
Owns and operates the only U.S. propane dehydrogenation facility producing propylene from propane.

Royal Hawaiian Orchards LP (NNUTU)
Owns or leases macadamia orchards yields located on the island of Hawaii. Discontinued paying distributions in March 2008.

Niska Gas Storage (NKA)
Niksa, an LLC, owns underground natural gas storage facilities in Alberta, Canada, California, and in Oklahoma.

Northern Tier Energy LLC (NTI)
A July 2012 IPO, NTI owns crude oil refining, and pipeline assets, as well as retail convenience stores, in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Quarterly distributions are variable, depending on operating performance.

Och-Ziff Capital Management LLC (OZM)
A November 2007 IPO, Och-Ziff, an LLC, is an investment manager that runs hedge funds targeted to institutional and high net worth individuals.

Pope Resources (POPE)
Owns or manages timberland and development property in Washington, Oregon, and California. 

Susser Petroleum Properties (SUSP)
A September 2012 IPO, Susser distributes gasoline to convenience stores and other outlets in Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. Main customer is its general partner, Susser Holdings that operates around 500 Stripes convenience stores.

Terra Nitrogen (TNH)
Manufactures nitrogen fertilizer products, primarily in Oklahoma.

TransMontaigne Partners (TLP)
Provides terminaling, storage, and pipeline services in the Gulf Coast area for companies engaged in refined petroleum products and crude oil distribution and marketing.

USA Compression Partners (USAC)
A January 2013 IPO, USAC provides compression services required to transport natural gas through pipelines, processing, storage and distribution facilities. USA Compression Holdings LLC controls general partner.

Westlake Chemical Partners (WLKP)
A July 2014 IPO formed by Westlake Chemical (WLK) to acquire, develop and operate facilities for processing of natural gas liquids. Assets include ethylene production facilities in Kentucky and Louisiana and a 200-mile ethylene pipeline. http://www.envivabiomass.com

Western Refining Logistics (WNRL)
An October 2013 IPO formed by Western Refining (WNR) to own, operate, develop, and acquire terminals, storage tanks, pipelines, and other logistics assets related to the terminaling, transportation, and storage of crude oil and refined products.

World Point Terminals (WPT)
An August 2013 IPO, WPT owns terminals and related assets located on the U.S. East Coast, Gulf Coast and Midwest regions, that provide storage of crude oil and refined petroleum products.
